Big Mam's Bottom Drawer is our much-loved little shop in the small quaint town of Silloth — a space full of creativity, colour and carefully chosen treasures. You Neek is our online home.
The shop was originally created by my daughter, Jenna. She had a gift for seeing beauty in the unusual, championing local makers, and creating a space that felt welcoming, curious and full of little treasures. Her vision was simple but powerful — a shop filled with creativity, community and pieces you wouldn’t find on the high street. The shop is home to a wonderful mix of local makers and artists.
Today, we continue that vision in her spirit.

While Big Mam’s Bottom Drawer is the physical shop you can walk into, You Neek is our curated website collection. Because many of our makers create one-off or very limited pieces, and some prefer to sell only in-store, not everything you’ll find in the shop can appear online.
The website features a handpicked selection of items that are suitable for posting, repeatable stock lines, and pieces from our makers who have chosen to sell online too.
