It has been a space filled with creativity, warmth and carefully chosen treasures — a place where people come not just to buy something, but to feel something.
I’m Sharron. I’m married to Dac and we have two daughters, Milly and Jenna.
Our family has always loved making, creating and supporting local artists — and that spirit lives in every corner of this shop.
Big Mam’s Bottom Drawer was originally Jenna’s dream. She built it with heart, humour and a real love for the unique. The shelves were filled with local makers’ work, meaningful gifts and pieces that made people smile.
In June 2025, we lost Jenna suddenly, and our world changed overnight.
For a while, everything stood still.
But this little shop still held her energy. Her creativity. Her courage.
And so, with love, I chose to continue what she started.
Reopening the shop in November wasn’t just about business — it was about keeping something precious alive. It was about community. It was about honouring creativity. It was about carrying forward the warmth Jenna poured into this space.
Today, Big Mam’s Bottom Drawer continues to champion local artists. Alongside their work, we carefully source unique pieces we truly love!
Milly and Dac also create items for the shop, just as Jenna once did. This really is a family space, through and through.
